Timothy C. Newton, of Stowe, PA, passed away on October 13, 2014 at his home. He was 60.
Tim was born in Dunkirk, NY to the late Carl H. Sr. and Catherine M. (Rhoads) Newton. He was a 1972 graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Church, Stowe, PA, a life member and former Chief Engineer at Collegeville Fire Company, a member of Perkiomen Twp. Fire Company and volunteered on mission trips with Appalachian Service Projects through Trinity UCC, Collegeville, PA.
He is survived by siblings: Linda K. Orlando, and husband Thomas A., of Pottstown, Kathleen Minger and husband Thomas M., of Sanatoga, David W. Newton and wife Robin, of Des Moines, IA and Carl H. Newton, Jr., of Carthage, NY; many nieces and nephews, thirteen great-nieces and nephews and step-son, Mark Rothenberger, of Collegeville.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Lenn Zeller. Friends will be received from 9-10:00 AM. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Collegeville Fire Company, 29 E. 5th Ave., Collegeville, PA 19426.
