Valerie Catherine Richards, of Royersford PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 98 early Monday morning, January 14, 2019 in the Seasons Hospice at the Phoenixville Hospital. She was the matriarch of the family, and always brought everyone together around her well laid table. Valerie was a life-long, faithful parishioner of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford, and member of the Royersford Women's Club. She also proudly volunteered as a Gray Lady at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center for many years.

Valerie is survived by one son, Tom Richards; and her seven loving grandchildren, Jen, Jessy, Missie, Chris, Ryan, Kevin, Colleen, and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel Richards; one daughter Joyce Babin; and one son Jack Richards.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Valerie on Thursday January 17, 2019, from 9:30AM - 10:30AM at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford PA. 19468. A Funeral Mass will follow the visitation at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 838 Walnut St. Royersford PA. 19468, at 11:00AM. Burial will be held in the St. Aloysius Cemetery, 800 Block of Buchert Rd. Pottstown PA. 19464. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Dementia Society of America, P.O.
