Vincent J. Alexander, 86, husband of the late Frances S. (Molino) Alexander, of Phoenixville, formerly Upper Darby, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015, in his residence. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Michael and Rose (Gallo) Alexander.
Mr. Alexander served in the United States Army, mostly in Germany, during the Occupation after World War II. He had been employed as a storekeeper for RCA, which then became General Electric. He enjoyed reading and building models, trips to the casinos and tending to his vegetable garden.
Mr. Alexander is survived by his two daughters, Sandra, wife of Todd Miller, of Phoenixville and Alicia, wife of Eric Jensen, of Virginia; five grandchildren, Alexander, Jason, Danielle, Ashley and Eric Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at St. Ann’s Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. John J. Newns. Interment will follow in the SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield. Friends will be received from 8:30-10:30 am at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue.
