Vincent J. DeFusco Jr., husband of Dorthea (Daniels) DeFusco, of Spring City, PA, passed away on his 83rd birthday, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in 1937 in Phoenixville, PA, he was a son of the late Vincent J. Sr. and Marian (Shoemaker) DeFusco.

Mr. DeFusco attended Phoenixville High School. He worked at Phoenix Steel for 27 years, and more recently worked for Atochem Laboratories until his retirement in 2006. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, and was a member of the Spring City American Legion Post 602 and the Liberty Fire Company in Spring City. Mr. DeFusco enjoyed being with friends, was a joy to be around, and knew how to have fun. Family was most important to him, and he and his wife were inseparable.

In addition to his wife of 64 years, Mr. DeFusco is survived by four children, Vincent J. III, husband of Diane DeFusco of West Chester, PA, Brenda, wife of Robert Leister of Pottstown, PA, Daniel, husband of Gail DeFusco of Pottstown, PA, and Mark, husband of Nancy DeFusco of Pottstown, PA; four grandchildren, Linette, Sam, Taryn, and Larissa. He was affectionately known as "Sonny" to his three siblings, John DeFusco of Spring City, PA, Kathleen Ebert of Pottstown, PA, and Mary Lou Schettone of Norristown.

At this time, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributons may be made in his name to the American Heart Association.
