Violet M. (Endy) MacIntire, 88, passed away on Tuesday morning at Manatawny Manor. She was the widow of the late J. Merrill MacIntire, who died in 1958.

Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Mabel V. (Davidheiser) Endy. After graduation from Pottstown High School, she was a machine operator for 30 years at Stanley Tool. She also worked as a hypnotist and cleaned area homes.

Violet was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Limerick, PA. She was also a member of the American Assoc. for Ethical Hypnosis, where she served as secretary and treasurer.

She is survived by: a daughter; Diane Bainbridge and husband Dale, of Royersford, and son, James MacIntire of Royersford, 4 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her longtime companion, Andre Frise and a brother Clair.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA. Visitation time is from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Limerick Church Burial Grounds. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the building fund of St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd., Limerick, PA 19468.
