Virginia E. Forkell, age 88, of Limerick, PA, passed away on Friday morning, May 31, 2019 in the Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville. Born on June 17, 1930, in Spencerport, NY, to the late John and Sylva (Pritchard) Forkell, she pursued a lifetime of Hispanic ministry to children.

Returning to the U.S., she joined Baptist Mid-Missions, and continued children and youth ministries for more than 33 years, with the Spanish Evangelical Baptist Church of Philadelphia, PA. Her retirement years proved fulfilling also, as she distributed and corrested Bible Correspondence Courses in Spanish and English, which included many prisoners. Attending the Royersford Bible Fellowship Church, she assisted in teaching English to Hispanics in ESL classes held in the church.
