Virginia (Taxter) McCoy, 97, formerly a resident of St. Peter's Place, died on Wednesday evening at the Golden Living Center, Phoenixville, PA.? She was the wife of the late Harry McCoy.
She was born in Tarrytown, NY, a daughter of the late Fred and Eleanor (Agard) Taxter.? She was also a homemaker.
Virginia was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville.? She was also a member of the AARP and Phoenixville Senior Center.
She is survived by her children: Nancy Beckman and her husband Rev. W. Jorris, of Thurmont, MD, Harry McCoy and his wife June, of Roxborough and John McCoy, of Phoenixville.? There are also 7 grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.?Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA.? Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Somerton, PA.? Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.???
