Virginia E. Trosino, age 88, of Audubon, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, East Norriton, PA. Born on July 29, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Lucy (Mazza) Paiano.

Virginia was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School. She was one of the first female antique dealers on Antique Row in Philadelphia, owning and operating Trosino's Antiques.

Affectionately known as the "Tree Lady" of Center City, Virginia was a staunch horticultural advocate. She was instrumental in the planting of countless trees in Philadelphia, and she received a citation for her work from the Mayor of Philadelphia. She was a member of the Washington Square West Association in Center City, and she was a seasoned world traveler.

Virginia is survived by two children, Michael Trosino and Nancy G'Danitz, wife of Bob Holmes; two grandchildren, Justin and Kody G'Danitz; and one great-grandson, Leo. She was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Paiano.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, 100 N. 20th Street, 5th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
