Vogene L. "Jean" (Ingwerson) Vojcsik, of Phoenixville, died at home on Wednesday evening, June 18, 2008.? Born in Agra, Kansas in 1927, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Tillie Ingwerson.?
Jean was a student at the University of Nebraska when she married her husband, Jim Vojcsik, and moved East to Phoenixville.? She was employed by New York Coil and Boiler Engineering.?
She was a very active member of the Parkside United Church of Christ, serving as a council member.? She also taught Sunday School and was on the search committee.? She enjoyed the monthly "Couples Club" activities.??
Jean is survived by two sons; James Vojcsik, of Palm City, FL, Scott Vojcsik, of New Freedom, PA, seven grandchildren; Kara and Greg Vojcsik, Chris, Marissa, and Jeremy Mitcheli; Marcia and Max Vojcsik.? She was also "Grandma" to several teens, young adults, and neighbors on Valley Road.? Mrs. Vojcsik was preceded in death by her husband Jim Vojcsik and her daughter Nancy Mitcheli. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Parkside United Church of Christ, 505 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Sunday, June 22nd, 2008 at 10AM.? Officiating will be the Rev. Judy A. Miller and Rev. Stanley A. Miller.? Burial will be held privately in the Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville.? The Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.? In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Parkside United Church of Christ at the above address.?
