Walter R. "Dick" Long, husband of Ruth "Elaine" (Quay) Long, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Limerick, PA, died Friday, July 24, 2015 in the Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA. Born on February 28, 1939 in Linfield, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Veronica (Buzzar) Long. He was a 1957 graduate of the Spring-Ford High School. Mr. Long worked as a mapping supervisor for Vernon Graphics in Norristown, PA for over 33 years before retiring in 2004. He volunteered for over 50 years with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 11 in Linfield, PA. He was an eagle scout himself and was scoutmaster of the troop in Linfield for many years.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Long is survived by Two Daughters, Valerie A. (Todd J.) Kubenko of Latrobe, PA, Danielle A. Long of Las Vegas, NV; Son, Lawrence "Larry" E. (Roberta L. "Bobbi") Long of North Coventry, PA; Two Sisters, Florence Lewiski of Boyertown, PA, Frances Rulli of Stowe, PA; Two Granddaughters, Annaliese M. Long, Gabrielle L. Long; Grandson, Nathan J. Kubenko; . Mr. Long was pre-deceased by Siblings; Lawrence E., Kenneth R., Mary Good and Dorothy Black.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473 on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Paul C. Brandt. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA or on Wednesday morning at the Church from 9:45-10:45 AM.
