Walter H. Webster, 84, husband of the late Doris (Keane) Webster, of Phoenixville, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2008, in the Coventry Manor Nursing Home.? Born in Wilmer, Pa, he was a son of the late Harold and Mazie (Harple) Webster.?
Mr. Webster was a graduate of Spring City High School, before serving in the United States Navy during World War II.? He was self-employed in the furnace cleaning and service business.? He later was employed as fire inspector at Willow Grove Naval Air Station.?
Mr. Webster was a former scout master and was active in the Kimberton Fire Company, where he was a past president.? He loved fishing and cooking, and enjoyed traveling with his wife in their camper, especially trips to Florida.?
Mr. Webster is survived by his son, Rev. Kenneth W., husband of Terry Webster, of Schwenksville, grandchildren, Newman Webster, Kevin Johnson, and Holly Loveland, great-grandson, Dominik, and several nieces and nephews.? He was preceded in death by his brothers Donald and Vernon Webster.?
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Monday, December 15, 2008, at 10:30 AM.? Officiating will be the Rev. Kenneth W. Webster.? Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories.? Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 AM at the funeral home.?
