Warren Y. Francis, age 97, husband of the late Laura B. (Biggard) of Cornwall, PA, formerly of Royersford, PA, died Sunday October 21st, 2007 in the Cornwall Manor.? Born in Oaks, PA, he was a son of the late Arnold H. and Bertha (Yerger) Francis.? Mr. Francis was a graduate of the former Collegeville High School, Ursinus College, and the University of Pennsylvania Law School in Philadelphia.? Mr. Francis was an attorney and had his own law practice in Norristown and Royersford.? He was a former member of the First United Church of Christ in Royersford.? More recently Mr. Francis was a member of the Quentin United Church of Christ, Quentin, PA.? Mr. Francis was very active in the community.? He served many years as solicitor for Royersford, ?was a member of the Lions Club in Royersford, and volunteered his time for the local Meal on Wheels program and as a pro bono attorney.? ?Mr. Francis is survived by one daughter; Linda Gail Francis Barstow, wife of Dr. David R. Barstow, of Austin, TX, one son; David Warren Francis, husband of Jacqueline (Sandherr) Francis, of Lititz, PA, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; two sisters; Ruth Francis Huling, of Lansdale, Dorothy Francis Lockwood, of Plymouth, MA and many? nieces and nephews.? Mr. Francis was predeceased by his brother; Joel Francis, and two sisters; ?Mary Francis Heller and Bertha Francis Clark.? ?Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Saturday morning, October 27th, 2007 at 10AM.?
