Warren H. Hilberg, Sr., age 70, of Phoenixville, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007, in the Phoenixville Hospital.? He was the loving husband of 47 years to Sherlee A. (Garrett) Hilberg.? Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Vaughn and Elnora (Hallman) Hilberg.?
Mr. Hilberg was a 1955 graduate of Phoenixville High School.? He was employed as freight manager at the former Phoenix Steel Corp. until his retirement.? He was later employed at the former National Rolling Mills in Malvern and Hershey's Mill, of West Chester.? He enjoyed weekend trips with his grand-daughters including Dutch Wonderland, the shore, and Hawk Mountain.?
In addition to his wife, Mr. Hilberg is survived by a daughter, Vicki Gephart, of Phoenixville, Daughter-In-Law, Betsy Hilberg, of Phoenixville, sisters Faye Kahn, of Delaware and Margaret Mulroy, of Phoenixville, and five grand-daughters, Brittany, Kaitlyn, and Shannon Gephart and Chelsea and Rebecca Hilberg.? He was preceded in death by son Warren H. "Skip" Hilberg, Jr.?
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home,? Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Friday, November 23, 2007, at 10 AM.? ?Officiating will be the Rev. Paul W. Thornhill.? Interment will be in the St. Ann Cemetery.?
