Wayne D. Bridgens, age 66, died Wednesday evening, August 20th, 2008 in the LifeCare Hospitals of Chester County, West Chester, PA.? Born in Woodbury, NJ, he was a son of the late Willard and Florence M. (Milligan) Bridgens.? He was a graduate of the Upper Darby High School and studied Architecture at Temple University in Philadelphia.? An acclaimed designer and architectural illustrator, Wayne Bridgens was the founder of two firms in the Chester county area, Architectural Concepts and Architectural Alliance.? He was a loving father and provider who enjoyed the time he spent with his four grandchildren.?
Mr. Bridgens is survived by two daughters; Melanie Joy Bridgens, of Chester Springs, Brooke Elizabeth, wife of Rodney Henderson, of Johnstown, PA, one son; Brett Amedeus Bridgens, of Kimberton, PA, one sister, Glenda Vanderzagg, of CA, three brothers; David, Robert, and Paul, Bridgens, four grandchildren; Isabella, Elijah, Annie, and Violet.? Mr. Bridgens is also survived by former wife; Dr. Nancy K. Bridgens, of Kimberton.??Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at the Chapel at Christ Community Church, 1190 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380 on Saturday, October 11th at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow at the Ship Inn in Exton.?
