DUE THE CURRENT WEATHER CONDITIONS, THE FUNERAL FOR MR. FAUNCE HAS BEEN MOVED TO SUNDAY, 2/7/10 AT 9:30AM IN THE CHURCH.

Wesley H. Faunce II, 84, husband of Ruth A. (Andrews) Faunce, of Phoenixville, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Wesley H. and Mary (Wood) Faunce.

Mr. Faunce was a graduate of Northeast High School in Philadelphia and received a degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was employed for 31 years at Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania as an engineer, retiring in the mid 1970's.

Mr. Faunce was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Phoenixville and was an avid bowler at Phoenix Lanes. He also made Acrostic Puzzles for Dell Publications.

In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, Mr. Faunce is survived by: his daughter: Lorraine F., wife of John J. Heinz, of Chester Springs; son: Dr. Wesley H. Faunce III, husband of Letitia, of Florida; brother: Dr. Richard W. Faunce, husband of Ruth, of Maple Grove, MN; and seven grandchildren: John, Daniel, Stephanie, Kathryn, David, Alexis, and Alina.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the First United Methodist Church of Phoenixville on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Amy C. Smith. Friends will be received from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the First United Methodist Church of Phoenixville, 865 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 please memo Capital Campaign Fund.
