William Francis Alexander, Sr., known as "Bill" to family and "Alex" to friends and co-workers, died Monday, November 24th at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, surrounded by his family and life partner.? William was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on April 6, 1945, to Lloyd and Margaret Alexander.? He is survived by sons William Jr., Brian, and Timothy, Daughter Rebecca, grandchildren Ashleigh, Raleigh, Amber, Peyton, and Jame, and life partner Denise Roberts.
William was a Support Account Manager at SAP for 12 years with many outstanding successes.? He positively touched many people through his insights and wisdom during his career and was respected for his leadership and mentoring abilities.? Prior to this, William had a very distinguished career at IBM for 30 years.? In his spare time, he enjoyed antiquing, woodworking, hunting, camping, and skiing.
Friends may call at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468, on Sunday, November 30, from 6:30-8:00 pm.? Burial will be held on Tuesday morning, December 2, 2008 in the Wyoming County Cemetery,?Paw Paw Illinois, 61353 at 10AM.? In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Penn Lung Center, c/o Maryl Kreider, 3400 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
