William A. Elton, 60, husband of Patricia (Gaasche) Elton, of Royersford, passed away on Sunday, March 07, 2010, in Temple University Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Harry R. and Dorothy (Alderfer) Elton.
Mr. Elton served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was employed as an adjustor at Huhtamaki Flexibles in Paoli. He enjoyed horseracing and was a huge Phillies fan, but he especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and trips to Ocean City, MD.
In addition to his wife of 38 years, Mr. Elton is survived by his daughter, Stephanie A. wife of Jack Brandt, of Pottstown, son William Elton, of Royersford, four grandchildren, Ashley, Delaney, Jay, and Kyla, brother, Harry R. Elton Jr., of Gilbertsville, and two nieces, Krista Brown and Cindy Gill.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Friday, March 12, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
