William E. Evans, age 83, husband of the late Betty Lou (Ruble) Evans, of South Coventry Township, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in South Coventry, he was a son of the late Albert W. and Sadie M. (Yeager) Evans.

Mr. Evans was a warehouse worker at Diamond Glass for 42 years, retiring in 1988.

Mr. Evans is survived by three children, Richard E. Evans of Spring City, PA, Elizabeth M. Moore of Pottstown, PA, and Penny L., wife of Rodgers Frazier of Pottstown, PA; three siblings, Betty Yost of South Coventry, Albert W. Evans of Owego, NY, and Harry R. Evans of Phoenixville; four grandchildren, Jennifer Heimbach, Kimberly Dougherty, Michael Evans, Christine Frazier; and five great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 10:30 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Eric Kern. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 9:30-10:30 AM.
