William "Bill" J. Frederick, age 94, husband of the late Evelyn (Wukovits) Frederick, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 in the Spring Mill Senior Living. Born on April 20, 1929, in Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, he was a son of the late May (Spicer) and Oscar G. Frederick.

Bill graduated from Fountain Hill High School, Bethlehem in 1947. He was a member of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Fountain Hill, which he credited for meeting his wife. He worked as a milkman, a manager for GC Murphy Co., and finally Rite Aid. Never one to sit still, after retirement he held part time jobs with Genuardi's, the Valley Forge convention center, and Great Valley High School, where his granddaughters attended. He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. In his spare time, he held small parts in two shows at the Harrisburg Community Theater. He frequently helped his wife with her Girl Scout troop. He loved golfing, bowling, playing cards, animals, and being outside.

Mr. Frederick is survived by his daughter: Lynne Frederick; granddaughters: Megan Hockenbury and Kathryn Hockenbury; and numerous nieces & nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Evelyn (Frederick) MacLellan and Raymond Frederick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the First United Methodist Church of Phoenixville on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 11am. Officiating will be the Rev. Mark Young. Family and friends will be received from 10:30-11am at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in William's name to the First United Methodist Church of Phoenixville, 865 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
