Obituary

William McArthur, 86, of Oaks, PA passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Phoenixville Hospital after a recent illness. He was the husband of Lillian (Cingolani) McArthur.

He was born in Lanarkshire, Scotland to the late Samuel and Winifred (Cooke) McArthur. After graduating from high school in Plains, PA he went on to work in the coal and lumber fields before settling in Oaks and working the next thirty-five years in the maintenance department of Synthane-Taylor.

He was a Past Master of Charity Lodge #190 F & AM and was also served as Chief of Oaks Fire Department.

In addition to his wife of 62 years he is survived by his daughters: Sandra Seifert, of Hilltown, PA and Elizabeth Bournonville, of Phoenixville; and three grandchildren: Laura Seifert, Jennipher and Ryan Bournonville.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, April 21, 2010 at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main St. at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA from 6-8 PM. A Masonic Service will be conducted by Charity Lodge at 7:30 PM. Burial will be private.
