William “Bill” Montgomery, 91, of Spring City, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 27th, 2016.

Born to William and Kathleen (Campbell) Montgomery and raised in Philadelphia, Bill lived most of his adult life in the Chester County suburbs.

Bill is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marjorie (Shuler) Montgomery and his three children; son Paul J. Montgomery and his wife Carolyn (Rasmussen), daughter Padge Montgomery and daughter Andrea Montgomery Colmery and her husband Buddy; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kathleen Lynne Montgomery (2009) and his brother Stewart Garvin Montgomery (2002).

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 8th at Community Evangelical Free Church, 52 S. Brick Lane, Elverson, PA. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service from 10:00am to 11:00am. Relatives and friends are warmly invited to join the family for lunch at the church following the service.
