William V. Pinkerton, age 93, husband of the late Rosemary R. (Sivo) Pinkerton, of Royersford, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died Tuesday evening, June 17th, 2014 in the Parkhouse Providence Pointe Nursing Home, Royersford, PA. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Isaac and Regina (Hamilton) Pinkerton. Mr. Pinkerton worked 25 years for the Philadelphia Police Department at Broad and Chestnut Traffic Division.
Mr. Pinkerton is survived by three children: Patricia M., wife of John J. Ceschan, Jr. of Exton, PA; William A., husband of Adeline LaMonaca-Pinkerton, of Linfield, PA; Stephen M., husband of Elissa (Goldstein) Pinkerton, of Douglassville, PA; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren. Mr. Pinkerton was pre-deceased by one brother and six sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Wednesday morning, June 25th, 2014 at 10:30am. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30-10:30am Wednesday morning at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the Philadelphia Lodge #5 Fraternal Order of Police, Retiree Health Benefits Joint Program Trust.
