William Gary Vogt, 62, of Exeter, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 in Reading Hospital. Born on October 29, 1954 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, he was a son of Nancy (Wood) Mann, wife of the late William Mann, of Limerick and William S., husband of Ruth Vogt, of Oaks.
Gary was a 1973 graduate of Spring-Ford High School. He was employed as a tire builder at B.F. Goodrich until its closing.
A nature lover, Gary enjoyed the outdoors and loved roadtrips and traveling. He also enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles and was a collector of coins. Gary had a passion for cooking and baking.
In addition to his parents and stepmother, Gary is survived by two brothers: Richard Scott, husband of Mary Vogt, of Royersford and Zachary Brett, husband of Susan Vogt, of Royersford; longtime companion: Sandy Imler, of Exeter; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks, PA 19456. Officiating will be the Rev. J. Rodney O'Donnell. Friends will be received from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Church.
