Yvonne R. Newhard, age 93, wife of the late Jack C. Newhard, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in the Amity Place, Douglassville, PA. Born on May 26, 1928 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Ida Mae (Bowe) McKee.

Mrs. Newhard was the owner of the Fabric Wagon in Easton, PA along her husband for many years. She was a volunteer coordinator for 17 years at the Project Food Pantry in Easton, as well as a volunteer for 11 years with Meals on Wheels through the College Hill Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Newhard was an amazing mother, grandmother, and matriarch of her family. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader, as well as a Den mother. She loved flowers and her garden, as well as birds and her many animals.

Mrs. Newhard is survived by three children, Bruce K., husband of Suzy Newhard of Brodheadsville, PA, Terry, husband of Suzanne Newhard of Easton, PA, and Laure N., wife of Scott Martin of Boyertown, PA; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, wife of Glenn McAfee, Declan, husband of Lisa McMurtrie, Cortney, wife of Sean Duff, Zachary Newhard, Hannah Newhard, Maggie, wife of Rocco Fiandaca, and Jesse Feinberg; three great-grandchildren, Jack, Joe, and Eliana; and her beloved cat, Sam. Mrs. Newhard was preceded in death by one grandson, Dr. Danny Newhard, who is survived by his fiancée Dr. Katelyn C. Hlusko, and one brother, Earl McKee, Jr.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to a scholarship in her grandson Danny's memory at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
